Helping to manage stress & anxiety tip 5

November 12, 2016

Last but not least.... Exercise.
Daily if possible, it's so important to help you feel good, maintain your health and help your brain cope with stress. A study found that those who took part in regular vigorous exercise were 25% less likely to develop depression or an anxiety disorder over the next five years. Little and often works wonders and can feel less daunting if you're pushed for time. Find something you enjoy doing so you look forward to it and try listening to music or an audiobook through headphones to distract yourself if needed. If you have trouble motivating yourself employ the services of a personal trainer, find one who is experienced and mindful in their approach to help keep you focused.
