Eat well-balanced meals.
It's so important not to skip any meals and to ensure that they are healthy and balanced. Protein is the star of the show as it keeps you fuller for longer and doesn't quickly turn to sugar as carbs do. Limit carbs like pasta, rice and bread, or better still replace them with healthy carbs like vegetables and fruit. Also keep healthy, energy-boosting snacks to hand for in-between meals, such as nuts or protein bars.
It never goes down well when we say it, but limit your alcohol and caffeine intake, as they can aggravate anxiety and trigger panic attacks.
