Health & high in protein pulses...


Chicken and turkey, fish and seafood are the obvious foods that spring to mind when we think healthy, with high protein content. Often overlooked are humble but delicious beans and pulses. Not only are these great value-for-money protein sources, they are really versatile and can be used to replace potatoes (garlic butter bean mash is delicious) and to fill out soups and stews. Beans and pulses are also a good source of iron and fibre.
